• Eliminating potential liability for Glass and Tyre damage

* If the renter has their own insurance the Accident Damage Excess must be paid to Hertz in the event of an accident

* MAX Cover (MAX) include below:

• Eliminating liability to pay the ADE for loss of damage to the vehicle during rental; 
• Waiving responsibility for the Hertz Claims Management Fee and External Damage Assessment Fee that would  be payable in the event of incident; 
• Glass and Tyre damage is included in MAX Cover 

*  After Hours Ferry Fee apply to rental collections at Ferry terminals after 1800 hours / 6pm, and on request and subject to staff availability, out of Hours collections are not available on the following Ferry Arrivals: 

• Wellington: Inter Islander 0300 and Bluebridge 2030
• Picton: Bluebridge 0015  

*  The New Zealand Land Transport Act 1998 and Drivers Licensing Rule 1999 state that it is mandatory in New  Zealand for driver’s licences to be carried at all times while driving. The renter is responsible for any fines or  vehicle impound fees relating to noncompliance  

* If the renter has their own insurance the Accident Damage Excess must be paid to Hertz in the event of an accident. It is the Customers responsibility to claim this back through their third party insurance provider. In NZ personal injury cover is again provided by a statutory body being the Accident Compensation Corporation and  coverage applies regardless of fault. Any amounts paid out will be determined by the relevant statutory scheme in NZ.  Please refer to the following websites for further information https://www.acc.co.nz 

Please select your car from below listed Hertz / Thrifty / Dollar rental cars, which are only fleets applicable for above cost-effective rates at the applicable rental locations

If for any reason you wish to cancel your Hertz reservation after the booking is confirmed and we have received full payment, you must advise us in writing quoting your Ros Elite Experience's booking number before our cancellation deadline which is 3 working days prior to your pick up date.

No refunds will be given for cancellations within 3 working days unless you are unable to travel due to COVID 19 travel restrictions

If any COVID-related travel restrictions are in place that may impact your ability to travel, for example, you cannot travel because your residential address or your travel destination is a COVID hotspot for your travel period, you can choose either a credit voucher for the amount paid to be used for future bookings, or receive a full refund. Note all bookings are subject to availability at the time of reservation. 

Note: Payment must be received 3 working days prior to your pick up date. If payment is not received then we are unable to hold your booking.
